  • Bob Russell

    Bob brings a lifetime of design experience in the office furniture industry. He began his career at Herman Miller serving on the Action Office team. His portfolio of work includes office seating, stadium seating, wood case goods, desking systems, laboratory furuniture , and healthcare furniture.

    Bob considers August Berres products to be the crowning achievement in his career, an apt bookend to his start at Herman Miller. He is responsible for the design concepts that became August Berres.

  • Bob Kroon

    CEO Bob Kroon has a forty-year history in electro-mechanical durable goods and the furniture industry. His career began as an Industrial Engineer for Maytag. His furniture background began in manufacturing engineering with The Hon Company in 1979. In the next 18 years, he served in assignments in product engineering and general management.

    His subsequent experience includes contract manufacturing for low-volume, high-value, high-complexity electronic enclosures.

    He also has experience with high-end residential furniture and hospitality furniture.

  • Jim Goughenour

    Jim began as a computer programmer in on UNIVAC I, Serial # 7 in USAF. Next, Jim worked for global companies as a programmer, systems analyst and designer, project manager, and systems design department leader.

    Promoted to leadership roles, Jim served as Chief Technology Officer, Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Customer Service and Distribution Officer, and Chief Financial Officer. Jim has a Black Belt in Lean/ Six Sigma, several IT certifications, and has consulted in LEAN, finance, IT, Process Design, and Process Improvement worldwide.
