For the first time, August Berres demonstrated a wireless hotspot integrated into the Respond! Office Systems Furniture.

Visitors to a San Jose State University supplier fair were able to witness the first completely wireless and functional computer workstation. The August Berres team assembled a workstation in less than an hour from the van to the show floor. It featured battery power for a laptop, 29” monitor, wireless phone charging, and a sit-stand desk.

The battery-powered wireless hotspot was charged using a Respond! desktop charger and connected to AT&T’s 5-G network. The system operated uninterrupted for the length of the show.
